Jason Keeling founded Ryson Real Estate in 2006 and, after investing in one vacation rental condo, the company quickly expanded to include a vacation rental and property management division earning Ryson regular nominations over the years for “Best Resort Rental Company” on Galveston Island.
Galveston, TX issued stay-at-home orders on March 23, 2020, and the impact was felt throughout the vacation industry. Ryson’s vacation rentals struggled initially but by May 2020 it had clearly become the best year Ryson had experienced across most of their properties. An unexpected but welcomed side-effect of COVID-19 experienced across many vacation rental markets in the US.
