• The Getaway is a custom-built 42 ft 2001 Walter Greene Catamaran cruiser. The boat is powered by two 140hp diesel engines, ideal for a comfortable cruising speed. It has a 16 ft beam (width), which gives guests plenty of space aboard and handles waves safely.
• The main difference from other charter boats in the area is the drop-down ladder on the bow of the boat, which allows guests the opportunity to exit the boat on the beach and explore the barrier islands; this is the only charter boat in the area with this feature!
• There is a small bathroom aboard the boat. Please be advised the space is very small and you will have to climb down a couple of steep stairs. We recommend all guests use the bathroom at the marina office before boarding the boat.
• Drinks and snacks will be available on the boat during the cruise. Coolers are not allowed. Sunscreen, sunglasses, Dramamine, merchandise, and more will be available for purchase at the ticket booth prior to boarding.
• Please arrive AT LEAST 30 min prior to your scheduled cruise time. The boat will leave the dock promptly at its scheduled time. We will not wait on guests even if you have a reservation.
