What you need to know
  • Seasonal December to March.
  • Time: 1:45 to 3:15p
  • Unlimited soda, juice, and water.
  • There is storage beneath each saddle-style seat for dry storage of a small bag or purse, and a take-along towel.
  • Your adventure begins from the beautiful sandy beach at A-Bay. Come in shoes that you don’t mind getting sandy, and are easy-to-remove for beach-ramp boarding. Casual clothing is recommended for all trips.
  • Vessels depart from Anaehoomalu Bay at the Waikoloa Beach Resort.
  • If driving, set your GPS to “69-1081 Kuualii Place Waikoloa, Hawaii 96738”. This will take you toward the A-Bay beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club. Park at the A-Bay Beach Park parking lot, and walk along the beach toward the middle.
  • Meet at Anaehoomalu Beach 20 minutes prior to tour at the Hawaii Nautical flag on the beach. Look for the orange Hawaii Nautical check-in sign near the two prominent coconut trees.

Hawaii Nautical: Waikoloa Snorkel Sail with Lunch

The iconic “Spirit of Aloha” provides the ultimate in sailing comfort and snorkeling fun. Bring your snorkel and mask, see dolphins, sea turtles, marine life, or majestic humpbacks during whale season. Enjoy a picnic lunch with drinks, on-board freshwater shower, restrooms, ample seating, and shade that are provided. Sanitized re-usable snorkeling sets, fins, and snorkel vests are provided.

What you need to know
  • During whale season December through March, majestic humpbacks are likely to be spotted.
  • Picnic lunch and beverages served aboard.
  • A large vessel that is safe for all ages, conveniences include on-board freshwater shower, restrooms, plenty of shade and ample seating.
  • Buy or bring your snorkel and mask, or sanitized re-usable sets are available as a backup. Fins and snorkel vests are provided.

  • On snorkel trips we suggest wearing swim-trunks and a t-shirt for men, and a swimsuit under shorts or a wrap for ladies. There are shaded, covered and dry areas of this boat, and also optional areas such as the front nets where you can enjoy sea spray and more wind.
  • There is plenty of covered space to place bags, belongings, towels and clothing that will stay dry.

What you need to know
  • Enjoy 2-3 miles of hiking around the park’s dynamic terrain.
  • Time: Tour is approx. 10-12 hours. Travel time from most resorts is approximately 6 hours round-trip.
  • Restrictions: Guests should be able to hike on uneven or rocky terrain and we may encounter cool, wet, or muddy conditions. Other restrictions may apply. Ages 8 +
  • What to Bring & Wear: Comfortable walking shoes, long pants, reusable water bottle, and a light jacket.

Whether you are a seasoned vet or a beginner, the flexible surf lesson program is designed to cater to your every need.

What you need to know
  • Expect to get wet and have FUN!
  • All surf lessons are 2 hours long and held all year round here in Kona, Hawaii.
  • We provide surfers with soft-top longboards, rash guards, booties and expert instructors.
  • Surfers should bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen.
  • Showers and storage units are provided on location as well as temporary parking for loading and unloading your gear.
  • Surf lessons begin at our surf shop which is located directly across the street from the best surfing beach in Kona, Hawaii.
  • Students will attend an on land demonstration where an instructor will go over important safety tips such as how to wipe out and surfing etiquette.
  • Next, the instructor will explain how to lay down, paddle and stand up on a surfboard properly. Students will practice standing up on the surfboard on dry land first.
  • Once comfortable, surf lesson students will practice their skills surfing waves in the warm blue waters of Kahaluu Bay.
  • All customers / participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity.
  • Handicapped parking is available on site as well as temporary parking for loading and unloading gear. No public restrooms.
