Dolphin Head Golf Club

Play a round of golf engulfed by nature and wildlife at Dolphin Head Golf Club on Hilton Head Island. This unique club is nestled on the mouth to the Atlantic Ocean and each hole is carved into a thick forest, giving you a sense of isolation as you go from hole to hole. This course offers stunning views at every turn, there’s no question why Dolphin Head is Hilton Head’s premier golfing experience!

What you need to know
  • Golf attire required. Soft cleat golf shoes also required.
  • Singles, twosomes and threesomes may be paired up at the discretion of the facility.
  • The course reserves the right to move your tee-time up to 10 minutes from it’s original reserved time.
  • Daylight hours vary with daylight savings – Typically tee times begin around 7a.
  • The Dolphin Grille is a perfect location to enjoy breakfast and/or lunch before or after your round.
  • The Dolphin Head Golf Shop is considered one of the best retail golf stores in Hilton Head and a must visit before or after your round of golf.
  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your tee time.

Lowcountry Watersports: Dolphin Tour

Get ready for scenic views on the Dolphin Tour for a 90 minute, fully narrated dolphin tour of Hilton Head Island! You will cruise the waterways off the coast as your captains and expert guides point out historic landmarks, scenic views, and Bottlenose Dolphins. Observe playful dolphins in their natural habitats and a variety of other marine life including manatees, egrets, sea turtles, and more!

What you need to know
  • Up close, guaranteed dolphin sightings.
  • Narrated by an experienced Naturalist/Guide.
  • Observing the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin in the wild.
  • Lowcountry Watersports strives to protect wild dolphins. Dolphins are protected by the national marine mammal act; therefore, we do not touch, chase, pursue, harass, or feed wild dolphins. It is considered both illegal and inhumane.
  • Please feel free to bring a small cooler. We never allow glass or large coolers.
  • We recommend that you consider the weather conditions while preparing for your tour with Lowcountry Watersports. If you are taking an evening tour, you should consider wearing an extra layer or bringing a light jacket, since temperatures drop once the sun goes down.
  • No Bathroom aboard (use bathroom before leaving on the cruise).
  • No Age Restrictions (Please include every person in your reservation).

Hilton Head Helicopter Tours: Beach Cruiser

Fly over the sandy shores of Hilton Head Island on the Beach Cruiser tour from Hilton Head Helicopter Tours! The Beach Cruiser tour takes you right over the busiest beaches on the island. The tour offers great views of Folly Field Beach, Broad Creek, Port Royal Sound, and Shelter Cover. You will be able to see amazing views of the entire island from the north to the southern tip.

Pirates of Hilton Head

All aboard the Black Dagger for a Pirate Cruise with the Pirates of Hilton Head! From start to finish, the action is non-stop as the kids transform into the pirate crew! Everyone gets a pirate name and learns how to talk like a pirate before the search for the treasure begins. This hour and a half interactive pirate cruise is a blast for kids ages 2-10.

What you need to know
  • There is an $9 cash only gate fee to enter Sea Pines.
  • Wear clothing that suits the weather.
  • There is no restroom on the boat, please go ahead of time.
  • Dress for the weather, bathing suits aren’t required.
  • Sunblock is a must, there’s lots of shade aboard, but the kids will get a good amount of sun.
  • Feel free to bring a drink or a snack but there’s no time for a big lunch, the kids will be too busy having fun. Last but not least don’t forget yer camera on this pirate adventure.
  • A ticket must be purchased for every rider, regardless of age (infants included).
  • Pirates of Hilton Head is located on the docks near Harbor Town Lighthouse. You will be meeting at the Boat.
  • Parking is available right next to the boat, however, it can be crowded at times. Leave plenty of extra time to park your car.
  • Show up early for kids face paint and tattoos.
  • Ultimate Pirate Experience is an add on to the Child or Infant ticket. It Includes: Pirate Bandana, Eye Patch, and Signed Pirate Flag from the Crew.
  • Covid 19 Information: As the coronavirus becomes more prevalent Pirates of Hilton Head is taking steps to prevent the possible spread of the virus. They have eliminated or altered some portions of the script and they have implemented a routine to clean the vessel multiple times a day.

Harbour Town Lighthouse Museum

Climb through time and learn all about the history of Hilton Head Island at the Harbour Town Lighthouse Museum! You will explore the history of the island and lighthouse as you climb up the levels which showcase rare historical artifacts from the island and learn about the nine phases of Hilton Head’s history. The museum and lighthouse are a must-see while visiting Hilton Head Island.
