Set Sail on a Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show in The Smokies

April 20, 2021

Surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge is a sought-after vacation destination for lovers of the great outdoors with endless trails and outdoor activities. But, the fun does not end there!

Pigeon Forge has so many world-class attractions and activities it’s hard to know where to start. From interactive discovery centers and unique museums to theme parks, family-friendly entertainment, and the best dinner shows in Tennessee, there’s something to keep the whole family entertained.

The Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is an adventure worthy of the high seas with 90 minutes of swashbucklin’ fun for the whole family! Welcomed by Captain Blackbeard and his fearless crew singing sea shanties, visitors can expect high-flying acrobatics, epic battles on the bows to win Davy Jone’s coveted sunken treat, sword-fights, blasting cannons, and mermaid performances in Buccaneer Bay, a 15-foot deep indoor lagoon.

“This show is a fantastic journey where families can create lasting memories together. We are living in a time when it’s never been more important to be together and create experiences not to be forgotten,” says Leah Hicks, Corporate Director of Marketing for Pirates Voyage.

As the battle breaks out, a hearty four-course feast fit for a king (not a pirate!) is served. Start with the buccaneer biscuit and famous voyager creamy soup, onto the cracklin’ pan-fried chicken, swashbucklin’ sugar-cured ham, corn on the cob, and an herb-basted potato. Even pirates have a sweet tooth so the final feast is a walk the plank peach turnover. There are unlimited Coca-Cola drinks, tea, or coffee, but sorry to the grown-ups … no rum punch on board! Pirates aren’t picky eaters but, if you are, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free meals are available by request, just call ahead. Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show is a top Pigeon Forge attraction and one of the most fun places to eat in Pigeon Forge!

“Families love experiencing all of the unique elements of our show – with ship to ship battles, cannons blazing, acrobatics and a delicious feast.”

The third season of Pigeon Forge’s Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show set sail on February 12, 2021, for a season of more swashbucklin’ adventures than ever before. If you’re wondering what to expect for the 2021 season, it’s much the same. Pirates Voyage has taken enhanced health and safety measures with stringent sanitation procedures in place to meet the guidelines set by the state of Tennessee. Masks are required when entering, moving around, and exiting the show.
